Shipping In Hot Weather Policy

Hot Weather Shipping Policy and Information

What you should know:

  • Orders that qualify for free delivery will be delivered via our courier in a climate controlled cabin to minimise the chance of heat damage.
  • STANDARD Postage/Shipping (1-10 Business Days after receiving tracking information) does NOT include a cold pack or heat resistant packaging. We do not recommend this option if your order includes heat sensitive products such as chocolates (especially UK chocolate which can melt at temperatures as low as 26 degrees Celsius)
  • EXPRESS Postage/Shipping (1-3 Business Days after receiving tracking information) includes a cold pack and heat resistant packaging to minimise the chance of heat damage. We recommend this delivery method if your order includes heat sensitive products such as chocolates (especially UK chocolate which can melt at temperatures as low as 26 degrees Celsius).

Unfortunately refunds/replacements will not be granted due to melted/heat damaged items, so please consider all of this prior to purchasing. 

What you can do to minimise the chance of heat damage:

  • Select Express shipping.
  • Check the temperature in your area so that you may select the most appropriate delivery/shipping method

 

Lost/Misplaced Parcel Policy

Parcel Lost/Misplaced by Australia Post

In the rare case that your parcel is lost or misplaced whilst in transit via Australia Post, please contact Australia Post directly with your tracking number. Once your parcel has been collected and processed by Australia Post, The Original Lolly Store no longer claims ownership or responsibility over the outcome of your parcel. Australia Post Customer Service Contact No.:13 76 78

Wrong delivery address entered at Checkout

Email us immediately/ASAP, so that we can fix the error prior to dispatch. It is important that you do this by replying to the Order Confirmation email sent to you after placing your order. Orders that cannot be delivered will be returned to our dispatch facility, at which time there will be an re-dispatch fee to re-lodge the order with Australia Post.

If you have entered the wrong address and it has been delivered by Australia Post and not returned to our dispatch facility, we will not have the capacity to remedy this. We recommend that you check your delivery address very carefully before submitting your order. 
Once your order has been lodged with Australia Post, we will not be able to change the delivery address if you have entered it incorrectly.
